The original 1925 version of Phantom of the Opera will be shown at Friday’s Trick or Treat at Werewolf Creek. Admission is free.
The classic movie stars Lon Chaney as the mad, disfigured composer seeking love with a beautiful young opera singer. Here’s the original trailer:
The movie starts at 9:30 p.m. at the Wolf Pen Creek Amphitheater. The screening caps off Trick or Treat at Werewolf Creek, a family-oriented Halloween event that includes a pumpkin carving contest, costume contest, candy booths, hayride, face painting, petting zoo, party train, inflatable structures, Halloween bingo, and more. The fun starts at 6 p.m.
Attendees may pick up bingo cards from 5-7 p.m., then get stickers from various booths and activities to fill in the cards. Completed bingo cards must be turned in to the Arts Council Building by 8 p.m. to be eligible for prizes.
