Dedicated participants and spectators braved the chilly weather to behold Saturday's College Station Christmas Parade, and their resilience paid off—the rain stopped, and the parade proceeded to the delight of thousands who lined the route.
The event illuminated our streets with colorful holiday magic, showcasing the creativity and community spirit that make College Station a special place.
Participants dazzled spectators with stunning floats, lively performances, and heartwarming displays of holiday cheer. The enthusiasm and effort behind each entry transformed the parade into a spectacular celebration that brought smiles to all.
An event of this magnitude wouldn't happen without significant devotion and teamwork. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who played a role, including the participants, spectators, and our fantastic judges, KBTX's Rusty Surette and Katie Aupperle.
In addition, many city employees worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the parade's success. The combined efforts of Public Works, Parks and Recreation, the City Manager's Office, Public Communications, and the Police and Fire Departments were instrumental in producing an exceptional event. Their meticulous planning and on-the-ground execution ensured everyone a smooth and memorable experience.

Merry Marvel (2nd place): BCS Habitat for Humanity
Spirit of the Season (3rd place): Blinn College Dental Hygiene
Best Mounted: Brazos County Faith Riders
Best Marching: South Knoll Elementary
Best Dance/Cheer: BCS Hustle Majorette
The participants' efforts brought joy to thousands and truly embodied the season's spirit, reflecting the vibrant and engaged community we're proud to call home.
