From the roads we travel to the water we drink and the electricity that powers our homes, engineers are behind it all. Monday is World Engineers Day, a global celebration of the vast contributions of engineers to society.
Engineers are problem-solvers, innovators, and builders of complex systems, structures, and tools that make life easier, safer, and more efficient. Their work requires a deep understanding of science and mathematics, as well as practical considerations such as safety, environmental impact, cost, and regulatory requirements.
At the City of College Station, we’re fortunate to have an array of exceptional engineers who make a lasting impact across a wide range of City operations. Whether they’re developing infrastructure, managing utilities, or improving public services, their dedication helps drive our community forward.
