If you’ve ever wished that paying your utility bill could be a little easier, we have good news.

The City of College Station is encouraging College Station Utilities customers to switch to paperless billing through its customer portal, making it simple to stay connected with your account without waiting for a bill to arrive in the mail. To make the switch even more appealing, customers who enroll by April 13 will be entered into a drawing for one of five $250 utility bill credits.

If you’re already using paperless billing, you’re automatically entered, and no additional steps are needed.

The drawing is open to legal residents with an active College Station utility account in good standing, and no purchase is necessary to enter. The winners will be selected at random and notified via email or phone.

The sweepstakes is sponsored by Origin Utility, Inc., the City’s electronic payment solution, and is not funded by customer utility rates.

Why Go Paperless?

Paperless billing is becoming more popular because it makes managing your account quick and convenient. Instead of sorting through mail or worrying about misplaced bills, everything is accessible online in one secure place. It’s a small change that can make staying on top of your utility account much easier:

How to Go Paperless

Signing up takes just a couple of minutes in the City’s customer portal:

  1. Log in to your Customer Portal account.
  2. Click the “Go Paperless” link located under the “Pay Now” button.
  3. Confirm your paperless billing preference.

If you haven’t created a customer portal account, you’ll need to register first before enabling paperless billing.

Whether you’re already paperless or thinking about making the switch, now is an ideal time to take advantage of a simpler way to manage your utility bill. To get started, visit the customer portal.
