The upcoming new year offers a fresh beginning for the Parks & Recreation Department and an impressive lineup of engaging programs and events for all ages and abilities. Whether you are looking for a new hobby or want to catch a movie with your furry friends, we have something for everyone.

Registration is underway – with no residency requirements. Here’s a quick look at our winter and spring schedule:

When will the spring parks guide be published?

 The spring guide won’t be published this year, but we’re committed to providing updated information through our website.

Do you offer scholarships for youth and after-school programs?

 We offer a discounted rate for qualifying households. Proof of eligibility is required.

When will the splash pads open?

 The Fun for All Playground and W.A. Tarrow’s splash pads open on March 1 and operate daily from 8 a.m.-9 p.m.

 Are there other athletic leagues in town?

 Yes! BCS SoccerBrazos Valley Girls SoftballCollege Station Little League, and College Station Soccer Club operate spring leagues.

 When will you start accepting pool rentals for the 2022 season?

 Reservations open on February 1.

When is the Fun for All Playground open?

 The playground is open daily from 8 a.m.-9 p.m. Reservations aren’t accepted and remember — only service animals are allowed.

 Are you hiring seasonal staff?

 Yes! We hire tennis instructors and recreation assistants for our after-school program, athletic leagues, facility rentals, and senior programs.
