Registration is underway for our dazzling fall lineup of adult and youth recreational programs

Seemingly endless 100-degree days can make it seem like summer will never end. Thankfully, the cooler days of autumn are approaching.

Of course, with the change of seasons comes football games and excited kids going back to school, among other delights. For the Parks and Recreation Department, the subsiding heat also means an impressive lineup of engaging fall programs and events for all ages.

Registration is underway, and we have no residency requirements.  

Here’s the fall schedule:

We know you have questions, so maybe this helps:

Do you offer scholarships for after-school programs?
We offer a discounted rate for qualifying households. Proof of eligibility is required.

Are the splash pads open this fall?
The Fun for All Playground and W.A. Tarrow’s splash pad is open through Oct. 31.

Is there a youth soccer league in town?
The College Station Soccer Club operates a league.

When are the pools open for general swim?
General swim hours continue through Sept. 4 at Adamson Lagoon and through Aug. 13 at Cindy Hallaran Pool.

Are you hiring seasonal staff?
Yes! We hire tennis instructors and recreation assistants for our after-school program, athletic leagues, facility rentals, and senior programs.
