World Communication Week, observed each year during the first week of November, emphasizes the crucial importance of communication in our everyday lives.
At the City of College Station, we believe open communication is the foundation of good government. Our Public Communications team works diligently to ensure residents have clear, convenient access to accurate, timely, and transparent information about what’s happening across our city.

Speak Up and Be Heard
Share your thoughts and concerns with city leaders by speaking at a City Council meeting. Whether it’s about a community project, a neighborhood concern, or offering a suggestion, these meetings provide an opportunity to be heard in person or online.
Explore and Engage
Transparency means giving residents easy ways to see what’s happening and share their input. That’s why we’ve launched tools like our interactive capital projects map, which lets you explore city projects — including those approved in the 2022 bond election — by location, phase, and estimated completion date.
During budget season each summer, you can get involved through our online budgeting tool, which allows you to rank funding priorities and share feedback directly with staff and City Council.
