As the Texas heat moves in, there’s no better place to be than the water. Whether you’re hitting the local pool, the lake, or the beach, swimming is the heartbeat of a great summer — offering families a fun, healthy way to stay active and make lasting memories.

But water activities carry real risks, particularly for young children and inexperienced swimmers. Learning to swim isn’t just extracurricular fun; it’s an essential skill that keeps your loved ones safe. Our programs are designed for all ages and experience levels, building the technique and confidence needed for a lifetime of water safety.

Things to Know

Ready to Jump In?

Registration for City of College Station swim lessons is open for ages 6 months and older. We also offer private and adaptive instruction to ensure everyone in our community can thrive in the water.

Pro Tip: Not sure which level to choose? Review our Swim Lesson Handbook. If the student can already perform all the skills listed for a specific class, move up to the next level. If not, that level is the perfect place to start!
