By Colin Killian, Public Communications Manager

The College Station City Council meets Monday at 4 p.m. to consider a Restricted Occupancy Overlay (ROO). The ordinance would allow single-family neighborhoods to request a zoning overlay to restrict home occupancy to no more than two unrelated people.

The Planning & Zoning Commission voted 4-3 on Thursday to recommend approval.

The meeting will be streamed live from city hall on Suddenlink Channel 19 and at cstx.gov/cstv19. Public attendance is not permitted, but public comments are allowed through Zoom. To join the meeting online, go to Zoom or call 888 475 4499 and enter webinar number 957 1223 0405. If the call-in number isn’t working, access will be limited to Zoom.

To address the council via Zoom, you must register with the city secretary at least two hours before the meeting or call 979-764-3500 and provide your name and phone number. Written comments will be provided to the council members.
