Creepy Crawl 2K includes all the ghoulish elements for fabulous Halloween-themed family fun

Ghosts, witches, and creatures of all ages are invited to our Family Creepy Crawl 2K Fun Run and Walk on Saturday, Oct. 29, at Wolf Pen Creek Park. The free fun-filled event features a costume contest, children’s activities, and health and wellness booths families can enjoy together.

Registration for the fun run and costume contest starts at 7:30 a.m., and the run begins at 9 a.m. The costume contest starts at 11:30 a.m. and features prizes in four age categories – 6-and-under, 7-12, 13-17, and 18-and-over.

Here’s the entertainment schedule and a few things to know about the costume contest:

COSTUME CONTEST RULES

A parent or guardian must accompany kids 12 years and younger.
Contestants must register to participate.
Costumes must be appropriate (nothing obstructive, obscene, or violent).
Costumes may not contain real weapons, sharp/pointed objects, or materials that could harm others. Fake weapons must remain sheathed.
Guests may bring refreshments (coolers must be 48 quarts or smaller), and vendors will be available for food purchases. Alcohol and glass containers are not allowed.

Post Oak Mall offers convenient parking, and handicapped parking is available on Colgate Street. Shuttles won’t be available, and dogs aren’t allowed.
