College Station’s new mayor and three new city council members will be sworn into office on Monday at 4 p.m. at city hall before participating in their first regular meeting. A short reception for the new and former members will follow the ceremony.

The oaths of office and the agenda portion of the meeting will be streamed live on Suddenlink Channel 19 and at cstx.gov/cstv19. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. and can also be joined by Zoom or by calling 888-475-4499 and entering webinar number 967 2839 3278. If the call-in number isn’t working, access is limited to Zoom.

Before the new members are sworn in, the outgoing council will canvass and declare the Nov. 8 election results. Municipal Court Judge Ed Spillane will administer the oaths of office.

The regular agenda includes a public hearing and consideration of a request to amend the concept map for about five acres east of the Memorial Cemetery Park at 404 Harvey Mitchell Parkway South. The change would allow a fire lane to extend around the building and between it and the adjacent cemetery.
