To address the council about any item on the workshop or regular agenda, register with the city secretary by 4 p.m. or call 979-764-3500 and provide your name and phone number. Written comments will be provided to the council members.

Here are five items to watch:

1. Impact Fees

In the workshop, the council will discuss impact fee waivers. The council will also consider the semi-annual report on water, wastewater, and roadway impact fees as part of the consent agenda.

2. Capital Projects Update

The council will receive an update on the city’s active capital projects, including items approved by voters in the 2022 bond election.

3. Standards of Care

After a public hearing, the council will consider adopting standards of care for the Parks and Recreation Department’s youth recreation programs. The state-required standards are renewed each year.

4. Easement Abandonment

After a public hearing, the council will consider abandoning a 1,788-square-foot section of a public utility easement near Joe Will Drive and Williams Creek Drive in the Williams Creek Lake Estates.

5. Lick Creek WWTP Change Order

The council will consider a $802,227 deductive change order to the contract with CSA Construction for the recent Lick Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant expansion. The change reconciles the contract’s final quantities and credits the city for additional engineering costs.
