The City of College Station’s Housing Action Plan strives to address our community’s most pressing housing issues while accomplishing housing action items in the City’s Comprehensive Plan.
Ultimately, the overarching goals of the Housing Action Plan are to generate more housing units of various types to meet growing demand and produce and preserve affordable housing for residents.
After reviewing existing housing conditions, exploring possible housing tools, and engaging with the community for input and feedback, the draft Housing Action Plan Goals/Strategies/Actions Report is ready for your review and comment.
The 13-member Housing Action Plan Steering Committee has worked with city staff to create and recommend a plan that reflects the community’s vision for housing action and initiatives, which you, as a community member, have helped shape.
