The College Station City Council concluded two days of extensive discussions about the city’s FY 25 proposed budget on Tuesday at City Hall.
The discussions covered outside agencies, revenue sources, staffing, departmental budgets, and the fund balance and forecasts. Video recordings of the meetings are archived at cstx.gov/cstv19.
The proposed budget was presented to the council on July 8. A public budget open house will be at City Hall from 6-8 p.m. on July 22. Public hearings are scheduled for the budget on July 25 and the tax rate on Aug. 22.
Adoption is tentatively scheduled for Aug. 22, with the new fiscal year beginning Oct. 1.
