Visit College Station invites residents, Aggies, and our visitors from South Bend – the Notre Dame Fighting Irish – to the first Hometown Tailgate of the season at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 31, at the College Station Visitor Center in front of City Hall on Texas Avenue.

If you attended any of last year’s free events, you know all about the live music, snacks, games, exclusive merchandise, and complimentary parking. But this year, we have a new twist – attendees can take a free shuttle to the game and back!

When you arrive, check in with the folks from Candy 95 to get a shuttle wristband and your Visit College Station stadium-approved bag. Smokin’ Sims 45 food truck will also be there if you want to purchase a quick and tasty meal before shuttling over to Kyle Field for the 6:30 kickoff.

And don’t forget to snap some photos at the popular “I Heart Aggieland” sign across the City Hall lawn.

We’ll also tailgate at three SEC games this season, so mark your calendars. Team colors are a must, and face paint is encouraged!

Each event starts three hours before kickoff.

Oct. 5: vs. Missouri Game – 8-11 a.m. (11 a.m. kickoff)
Oct. 26: LSU Game – Time to be determined.
Nov. 30: Texas Game – Time to be determined.

Our Hometown Tailgate in the Heart of Aggieland will prime you for the big game, no matter what team you root for!
