UPDATE (Nov. 12): All late absentee and military ballots were tallied on Nov. 12 at the Brazos County Elections Administration Office. David White, Melissa McIlhaney, Bob Yancy, and Scott Shafer will be sworn in as City Council members at 3 p.m. on Nov. 14 at City Hall. They will participate in their first council meeting that evening.

Welcome to our live city election blog from the Brazos Center. We’ll start posting results as soon as they are received after the voting centers close at 7 p.m.
The city council will officially canvass the votes and the new members will be sworn into office on Thursday, Nov. 14.
