The College Station City Council meets at City Hall after 6 p.m. on Monday. The meeting will be streamed live on Optimum Channel 19 and at cstx.gov/cstv19.

We also encourage you to follow our live meeting blog here at blog.cstx.gov.

To address the Council about any item on the workshop or regular agenda, register with the city secretary by 4 p.m. or call 979-764-3500 and provide your name and phone number. Written comments will be provided to the Council members.

The real estate portion of the executive session agenda was inadvertently left off the original posting. The correct version was posted Friday evening. As a result, part of the executive session will be after the regular meeting to abide by the 72-hour posting policy.

Here are five items to watch:

1. Water Well No. 3 Rehab

The Council will consider a $863,025 contract with Weisinger to rehabilitate Water Well No. 3 to enhance production, reliability, and efficiency. The rehab process typically involves cleaning well screens, replacing or lowering pumping equipment, and other necessary improvements.

2. Impact Fees Report

The Council will consider the semi-annual report on water, wastewater, and roadway impact fees.

3. Emergency Management

The Council will receive an update about the City’s emergency management operations and collaboration with partner agencies.

4. Southern Pointe Easements

The Council will consider abandoning two parts of public utility easements along Darlington Avenue in the Southern Pointe Subdivision. The easements are unused, and a separate easement has been dedicated.

5. Northpoint Crossing Plan

After a public hearing, the Council will consider a request to amend the concept plan to reduce the required commercial space on the ground floor for the Northpoint Crossing property at Texas Avenue and University Drive.
