The College Station City Council meets at City Hall after 6 p.m. on Thursday. The meeting will be streamed live on Optimum Channel 19 and at cstx.gov/cstv19.

To address the Council about any item on the workshop or regular agenda, register with the city secretary by 2 p.m. or call 979-764-3500 and provide your name and phone number. Written comments will be provided to the Council members.
Here are five items to watch:
1. Capital Projects Update
The council will be updated on the City’s ongoing capital improvement projects.
2. FY 25 Budget Amendment
The council will consider a $14.7 million amendment to the City’s FY 25 budget to cover the annual encumbrance roll for unreceived goods budgeted and ordered in FY 24 and before, including fleet purchases for the fire department. For a detailed listing of amendment items, see page 132 of the meeting packet.
3. Cain-Holleman Land Use/Rezoning
The council will consider a request to change the land use to General Commercial for about one acre east of Cain Road and Holleman Drive South to allow commercial uses on the mostly undeveloped property. The council will also consider a request to change the zoning to Townhouse/General Commercial for about 3.3 acres east of Cain and Holleman for townhomes and commercial development.
4. CCWWTP Design Contract
The council will consider a $3.68 million contract with Freese and Nichols for the design and construction administration of the Carter Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant project to improve hydraulic efficiency and effluent treatment.
5. Texas Independence Park Trails Grant
The council will consider an application for a $300,000 Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Recreational Trails Grant for Texas Independence Park.
