By Bobbie Lehrmann, Assistant Director of Public Communications
Kids love big trucks, flashing lights, and the excitement of heavy machinery, so mark your calendar for the annual Big Vehicles event at the Larry J. Ringer Library on Wednesday, March 12, from 10 a.m. to noon.
The popular come-and-go event allows children and adults to climb inside, touch, and learn about an impressive array of large vehicles that help keep our community safe and running smoothly. The lineup includes a firetruck, a police car, an ambulance, a utility truck, and construction equipment.
The hands-on experience is certain to produce thrills and education all at once!
The library’s back parking lot will be closed to accommodate the vehicles. Attendees can park in the front lot or at First Baptist Church across Welsh Avenue.
For more information, contact the Ringer Library at 979-209-6347 or online.
