The College Station City Council meets at City Hall after 6 p.m. on Thursday. The meeting will be streamed live on Optimum Channel 19 and at cstx.gov/cstv19.

To address the Council about any item on the agenda, register with the city secretary by 4 p.m. or call 979-764-3500 and provide your name and phone number. Written comments will be provided to the Council members.
Here are five items to watch:
1. Impact Fees
The council will discuss system-wide water, wastewater, and roadway impact fees that were adopted in 2016. The one-time charges on new development help cover the costs of infrastructure associated with the development.
2. Pool Inspections
The council will discuss a proposed ordinance establishing a pool inspection program administered by the Brazos County Health District. The program would authorize the Health District to inspect, review plans, and charge fees and penalties for pools or spas not residential or owned and managed by the City.
3. Knox Drive HOO
After a public hearing, the council will consider a request to change the zoning from Planned Development District to Middle Housing/High Occupancy Overlay for 101, 103, 105, 107, 109, and 110-119 Knox Drive, southwest of Knox and Old Wellborn Road.
The change would allow the existing townhomes to function as shared housing. It would be required to go through the site-planning process to ensure it meets the requirements for a shared housing development.
4. Baby Bear Drive HOO
After a public hearing, the council will consider a request to change the zoning from Planned Development District to Middle Housing/High Occupancy Overlay for 418, 420, 422, 424, and 426 Baby Bear Drive, northeast of Baby Bear Drive and Towers Parkway.
The change would allow the existing townhomes to function as shared housing. It would be required to go through the site-planning process to ensure it meets the requirements for a shared housing development.
5. Deacon Drive West HOO
After a public hearing, the council will consider a request to change the zoning from Planned Development District to Middle Housing/High Occupancy Overlay at 133, 135, 137, 139, and 141 Deacon Drive West, northeast of Deacon and General Parkway.
The change would allow the existing townhomes to function as shared housing. It would be required to go through the site-planning process to ensure it meets the requirements for a shared housing development.
