Where would you click? How you can help the City build a smarter, more useful website

The City of College Station and our new website vendor are working to build a modernized, mobile-friendly website designed with you in mind. From simplifying navigation to ensuring essential services and information are just a click away, the project is about creating a better website for our community.

The design process includes a study to help determine how information is organized and accessed. The website vendor will use the results to identify key areas of improvement, so the new website we launch this fall will reflect what you need, not just what we think you need.

A useful study requires user feedback, and that’s where you come in.

We invite you to participate in our Website Navigation Menu Study through Wednesday, May 28. Here’s your chance to offer real and actionable input into the optimal way to structure the website’s navigation.

Think of it as a quick usability test.

Your valued participation takes less than 10 minutes. The study determines where you expect to find specific types of information on the city’s website. There are no wrong answers, just insight into how you naturally explore a site.

Our new website is more than a redesign; it’s about making the City of College Station’s online presence more intuitive, useful, and resident-focused.
