The College Station City Council meets on Thursday after 6 p.m. at City Hall. The meeting will be streamed live on Optimum Channel 19 and at cstx.gov/cstv19.

To address the Council regarding any item on the workshop or regular agenda, please register with the City Secretary by 1 p.m. by calling 979-764-3500 to provide your name and phone number. Written comments will be provided to the Council members.
During Hear Visitors, individuals may address the Council on topics NOT appearing on the regular agenda.
Here are five items to watch:
1. $2.57 Million SAFER Grant
Another consent agenda item is the acceptance of a $2.57 million federal Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response (SAFER) grant to help fund 12 additional firefighters for Fire Station No. 7, which is set to open in the fall of 2026.
2. Northgate Plan Update
The Council will discuss the Northgate Small Area Plan Engagement Report that was presented in July.
3. Overnight Parking
The Council will discuss overnight parking options in residential areas near the Texas A&M campus, including feedback from a recent public meeting. No action will be taken.
4. VPAC, Midtown Baseball
The Council will discuss the Veterans Park baseball field project, potential baseball fields in the Midtown area, and other capital projects.
5. Amphitheater Promoter
The Council will consider a draft Request for Proposals (RFP) for a live entertainment promoter for the Wolf Pen Creek Amphitheater. Earlier this year, the City received an unsolicited proposal from a promoter interested in overseeing live entertainment operations at the venue.
