From a wide selection of children’s books and engaging story times to hands-on arts and crafts, the Bryan + College Station Public Library System offers something for every young reader and learner.
We invite you to explore the exceptional children’s services at College Station’s Larry J. Ringer Library on Friday during Take Your Child to the Library Day. Whether your child is just discovering books or has already developed a love of reading, library programs are designed to encourage community participation, spark imagination, and make learning engaging and fun.
Library Hours
| Monday-Thursday: 9 a.m.-8 p.m. |
| Friday-Saturday: 9 a.m.-5 p.m. |
| Sunday: 1:30-5:30 p.m. |
Families can conveniently use curbside pickup Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., making library services easy and accessible for everyone.
Library Cards
With a library card, residents can access e-books, digital resources and educational databases. These services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for readers of all ages.

Programs and Events
The Ringer Library hosts a variety of programs for children, teens, and adults throughout the year, including story times, crafts, book clubs, and educational workshops. Don’t miss these upcoming events that your kids will love:
Big Vehicles Event: The popular Big Vehicles Event returns from 9 a.m. noon on Wednesday, March 11. Children and adults can climb inside, touch, and learn about an impressive array of large vehicles that keep our community safe and running smoothly.
Sunday Family Day – Kids Olympics: With the Winter Olympics set to dominate the headlines this month, your kids will love Family Day: Kids Olympics from 2-3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 22. The come-and-go event features mini competitions and obstacle courses in honor of the Olympics. Registration is not required.

The Ringer Library offers a large meeting room, two conference rooms and five private study rooms for group or individual use.
