The College Station City Council meets on Thursday after 6 p.m. at City Hall. The meeting will be streamed live on Optimum Channel 19 and at cstx.gov/cstv19.

To address the Council regarding any item on the workshop or regular agenda, please register with the City Secretary by 2 p.m. by calling 979-764-3500 to provide your name and phone number. Written comments will be provided to the Council members.
During Hear Visitors, individuals may address the Council on topics NOT appearing on the regular agenda.

Here are five items to watch:
1. Bee Creek, Tarrow Playgrounds
As part of the consent agenda, the Council will consider a $398,482 contract with Fun Abounds to replace and upgrade the worn-out playground equipment at Bee Creek Park and W.A. Tarrow Park. The City’s contingency of $39,848 makes the total appropriation $438,330. The new equipment is described starting on page 556 of the meeting packet.
2. Midtown Engagement Summary Report
The Council will review recent public engagement about the future of the Midtown area, including the City-owned business park. About 75 participants attended a community workshop in November, engaging in an interactive mapping exercise, submitting written comments, and asking staff questions. The report begins on page 735 of the meeting packet.
3. Police Department Annual Update
The Council will review the College Station Police Department’s operations and activities, including recent trends and statistics.
4. Economic Development Master Plan
After a public hearing, the Council will consider adopting the updated Economic Development Master Plan as part of the City’s Comprehensive Plan. The plan provides a detailed roadmap for economic growth and development over the next five years, tailored to College Station’s unique needs and opportunities. The proposed plan begins on page 854 of the meeting packet.
5. Midtown Baseball/Softball Fields LOI
The Council will consider a Letter of Intent with The Station Baseball regarding a baseball and softball complex in the Midtown Business Park to expand the City’s recreational and sports tourism offerings. The next step would be drafting a formal economic development agreement. The proposed LOI begins on page 892 of the meeting packet.
