If your child lights up at the sight of big trucks, flashing lights, and heavy machinery, you won’t want to miss the annual Big Vehicles event at the Larry J. Ringer Library on Wednesday, March 11, from 10 a.m. to noon. Admission is free.

The popular come-and-go event invites kids – and kids at heart! – to get up close and personal with the impressive vehicles that keep our community safe and running smoothly. Attendees can climb inside, explore, and learn about a variety of large vehicles, including a firetruck, police car, ambulance, utility truck, and construction equipment.

It’s a hands-on experience that blends fun and education and is a huge hit with children and families.

To make room for the vehicles, the library’s back parking lot will be closed during the event. Parking will be available in the front lot of Larry J. Ringer Library and at First Baptist Church across Welsh Avenue. For more information, contact the library at 979-209-6347 or visit the website.
