The world-famous Savannah Bananas are bringing their one-of-a-kind brand of Banana Ball to Aggieland on Saturday, facing off against the Texas Tailgaters at Kyle Field. First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m., capping a weekend of pre-game festivities, player appearances and exclusive deals for visitors across College Station.
The sellout crowd of over 96,000 is expected to generate about $18 million in direct economic impact for the College Station area, drawing fans from across Texas and beyond to experience the high-energy show that has taken the country by storm.
“When 100,000 fans show up for a single weekend, that’s booked hotel rooms, full restaurant tables and busy shops from Northgate to Century Square,” said Jeremiah Cook, assistant director of tourism for the City of College Station. “Banana Ball is a great show, and it’s also a real shot in the arm for the entire city.”
