The College Station City Council will hold workshops on the City’s proposed FY27 budget on Monday and Tuesday – with a third session on Wednesday, if needed – starting at 1 p.m. each day at City Hall. The proposal was presented to the Council on July 6.

We’ll post the presentations each day at blog.cstx.gov as they are presented:

  • Policy and Revenue Sources
  • City Staffing
  • Service Level Adjustments
  • Financing and Capital Appropriations
  • Fund Balances
  • Outside Agencies

Following public hearings on the budget (July 23) and tax rate (Aug. 27), the council is scheduled to adopt the budget on Aug. 27. The Voter Approval (VAR) and No New Revenue tax rates will be submitted to the Council on Aug. 13. The new fiscal year begins Oct. 1.
