The College Station City Council meets on Thursday after 6 p.m. at City Hall. The meeting will be streamed live on Optimum Channel 19, cstx.gov/cstv19 and YouTube.

To address the Council regarding any item on the agenda, please register with the City Secretary by 2 p.m. by calling 979-764-3500 to provide your name and phone number. Written comments will be provided to the Council members.
During the Hear Visitors segment, individuals may address the council on topics not listed on the regular agenda.
Here are five things to watch:
1. FY 27 Tax Rate and Budget
After conducting a public hearing on the City’s advertised property tax rate of $0.530254 per $100 valuation, the Council will consider adopting the tax rate and proposed $576.35 million budget for FY 27.
2. FY 27 Fees, Rates and Charges
The Council will consider adopting the City’s FY 27 fees, rates, and charges. No rate increases are proposed for metered electric, water or wastewater services. To keep pace with inflation, roadway maintenance and drainage fees will increase by 3%, and solid waste rates by 5%. The total impact on the average household utility bill will be about $1.88 per month. More details are on pages 418-476 of the meeting packet.
3. Harvey Road Townhomes
The Council will consider a request to change the zoning from Planned Development District to Townhouse for about 9.8 undeveloped acres west of Harvey Road and Boonville Road. The applicant intends to develop townhomes.
4. Regional Sports Complex
The Council will consider changing the land use from Business Center to General Commercial (106 acres) and the zoning from Light Industrial to General Commercial (93 acres) east of Midtown Drive and Corporate Parkway. The changes support a coordinated effort between the City and the developer to bring a regional sports complex and hospitality development to the area.
5. Corporate Parkway Extension
The Council will consider removing the future extension of Corporate Parkway between Midtown Drive and William D. Fitch Parkway from the City’s Thoroughfare Plan and Active Transportation Master Plan. The removal is tied to the proposed sports complex development, which would prevent the street from being fully extended.
