Ready to get creative? Pick up a paintbrush and spend an evening creating, connecting and celebrating strength at the Creative Expression Through Art: Color Me Beautiful Paint Party on Wednesday, Oct. 7, from 6-8 p.m. at the Lincoln Recreation Center.
The event, for ages 18 and older, celebrates Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a supportive, uplifting evening of creativity. Lincoln Recreation Center Supervisor Markeesha Watson will lead the group in painting a breast cancer-inspired canvas.
No painting experience? No problem. All skill levels are welcome, and we provide all supplies.
The cost is $20 for residents and $25 for non-residents. Registration is required by Oct. 5. Register online or call 979-764-3779.
Bring a friend, pick your favorite colors and make something beautiful together.
