The Lincoln Recreation Center is observing Women’s History Month with a series of fantastic March events to help honor women’s contributions throughout history.


Heartfulness Meditation Session

Ages 16+ | Free | Wednesdays | March 6 – April 24 | 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Explore simple yet effective relaxation techniques easily integrated into your daily routine from the comfort of your home. You’ll quickly learn how to achieve genuine relaxation, embracing the lightness and joy of your true self through heartfulness meditation techniques. The silent meditation is practiced in an upright, sitting position, and it may be helpful to have a journal at hand for your convenience.

Linda Didsbury, an experienced cognition coach for children and adults since 2017, is the instructor. With 14 years of certification as a Heartfulness Meditation Trainer, she provides free training for individuals seeking a personal experience of a heart-centered, self-development approach to meditation. Registration isn’t required.


Ladies Night Out: Trivia & Games

Ages 18+ | Free | Tuesday, March 19 | 6:30-9 p.m.

Have a blast with an evening of trivia, board games, and music, all wrapped in pure enjoyment. Put on your game faces, and let the fun begin!


Women’s Empowerment Luncheon: What is Your Personal Branding?

Ages 20+ | Free | Thursday, March 21 | 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

Join us for a delightful luncheon where you can network with accomplished women professionals. Immerse yourself in empowering discussions on crafting your brand while enjoying a light meal. Registration closes on March 14.
