Are you looking to give back to your community while having a fun and rewarding time?
The City of College Station’s Volunteer Program, spearheaded by Visit College Station, offers many opportunities to participate in community-oriented events to enhance the experience of visitors and residents.
Volunteering with Visit College Station isn’t just about lending a helping hand; it’s about embodying the renowned “howdy” spirit that defines the heart of College Station. Whether greeting guests at events or lending support behind the scenes, a friendly smile makes everyone feel welcome.
Examples of events where volunteers can make a difference include the Dave Campbell 7v7 State Tournament, Literacy Texas initiatives, USA Junior Olympic Track and Field Championships, Texas Health Occupations Association events, and more. Everyone in College Station can contribute regardless of their interests ityy or expertise.
How to Volunteer
Getting involved is easy!
Navigate to the Visit College Station website and fill out the Event Volunteer Form. You’ll then be added to the volunteer roster and receive regular emails about the latest events and opportunities. Whether it’s a cultural festival, sports tournament, or community outreach program, you’ll be among the first to know how to get involved and make a difference.
Volunteers must attend one of the program’s pre-event meetings to ensure smooth operations and adherence to standards. The meetings are scheduled about a month in advance and are a platform to discuss expectations and complete necessary volunteer release forms. Once you’re on the volunteer list, you’ll gain access to many thrilling opportunities.
