The College Station City Council meets at City Hall after 6 p.m. on Thursday. The meeting will be streamed live on Optimum Channel 19 and at cstx.gov/cstv19.

To address the council about any item on the workshop or regular agenda, register with the city secretary by 4 p.m. or call 979-764-3500 and provide your name and phone number. Written comments will be provided to the council members.
Here are five items to watch:
1. Library Services
The council will be updated about the Larry J. Ringer Library‘s operations and programs. The library is part of the Bryan+College Station Library System.
2. Paid Parking Pilot Program Review
The council will review the city’s Special Event Paid Parking Pilot Program used for the Brazil-Mexico soccer match and the George Strait concert at Kyle Field in June.
3. Park Place/Boardwalk HOO
The council will consider a request to change the zoning to Middle Housing/High Occupancy Overlay/Natural Areas Protected for nearly 19 acres along Park Place and Boardwalk Court. The HOO allows the shared housing use if the property meets the requirements.
4. Turner/Gilbert HOO
The council will consider a request to change the zoning to Middle Housing/High Occupancy Overlay for about an acre along Gilbert Street and Turner Street. The HOO allows the shared housing use if the property meets the requirements.
5. Balcones Drive Extension
The council will consider a request to remove the future extension of Balcones Drive between the Jones Crossing Development and Welsh Avenue from the Thoroughfare Plan and Bicycle, Pedestrian, and Greenways Master Plan.. The baseball fields will receive new bleachers and additional shade.
