What started three years ago as a local community event has grown into a celebration of holiday spirit, creativity, and unity across the Brazos Valley. The College Station Christmas Parade returns on Saturday, Dec. 6, and we encourage everyone in the area to help make it even brighter this year! The parade procession starts at 4 p.m.

From dazzling floats and marching bands to walking groups and decked-out vehicles, the parade captures the joyful heart of the holidays, and each entry adds its own spark. Whether you’re representing a business, school, church, nonprofit, neighborhood, or family, this is your chance to share the magic and celebrate the season with thousands of your friends and neighbors.

The entry deadline is Friday, Nov. 14 — don’t miss your chance to participate in this fabulous community tradition.

Entries can include:

  • Floats or trailers
  • Walking or marching groups
  • Decorated vehicles
  • Cheer, dance, or music performances

Friendly competition is part of the fun, with awards presented for the most outstanding participants. Entries are judged on creativity, design, and entertainment value.

Parade Route

The parade follows the same festive 1.5-mile route as before — starting on Holleman Drive near Post Oak Mall, traveling down Dartmouth Street, and turning onto Krenek Tap Road before finishing at Beachy Central Park.

Spectators can enjoy great views all along the route, so your entry is sure to be seen and celebrated.

The College Station Christmas Parade isn’t just a city event; it’s a holiday celebration for the entire Brazos Valley. Every float, song, and smiling face helps tell the story of who we are: a creative, connected, and caring community.

Whether you’re a first-time participant or a returning favorite, your energy and imagination help make this parade truly special. So, gather your group, grab the tinsel, and get ready to light up the season together!
