Historic Northgate

One of the oldest and most revered traditions at Texas A&M is Northgate. The vibrant entertainment district’s roots date back to the 1930s, and its growth expanded as A&M grew, meeting the needs of students and faculty for a place to eat, drink, and socialize. No game day weekend is complete without a stop in famous establishments such as the Dixie ChickenThe Corner Bar and Rooftop Grill, or Chimy’s to absorb a piece of history – and some tasty food!

Christmas Shopping at Century Square

One of the best ways to get primed for kickoff is the pre-game festivities at Century Square. Visit College Station and Century Square are hosting the annual Holiday Artisan Market on The Green on Friday from 4-8 p.m. Enjoy a festive evening of live music and shopping from local vendors—perfect for those last-minute Christmas gifts. Admission is free, and complimentary parking is in the Century Square garage.

ESPN’s College GameDay

ESPN’s College Game Day, college football’s premier pre-game show, kicks off its broadcast from Aggie Park on Saturday at 8 a.m.

Located in the heart of the Texas A&M campus, beautiful Aggie Park is designed to be the hottest spot in Aggieland on game day weekend – outside of Kyle Field, of course. The picturesque outdoor offers tailgating, stunning water features, an outdoor amphitheater, a performance pavilion, and public Wi-Fi, making it a perfect place to celebrate another Aggie victory.
