How can I stay connected to parks and recreation happenings?

Are scholarships available for youth and after-school programs?
We offer a discounted rate for qualifying households. Reach out to our administrative office at 979-764-3486 for complete details.
When will the splash pads open?
The Fun for All Playground and W.A. Tarrow splash pads open on March 1 and operate daily from 8 a.m.-9 p.m.
Are there other athletic leagues in town?
BCS Soccer, Brazos Valley Girls Softball, College Station Little League, College Station Soccer Club, and Brazos Valley Hockey Club operate leagues.
When will you start accepting pool rentals for the 2026 season?
Reservations open on March 2.
Are you hiring seasonal staff?
We’re hiring recreation assistants for after-school programs, athletic leagues, facility rentals, and senior programs. Aquatics positions open in the spring. Complete the job interest card to get email notifications when Parks and Recreation jobs are available.

Kelli Nesbitt has served the Parks & Recreation Department for 19 years, including 12 years as marketing coordinator. She also served 1.5 years as the marketing and community engagement specialist for the City of Bryan from 2023-25.
