The College Station City Council meets on Thursday after 6 p.m. at City Hall. The meeting will be streamed live on Optimum Channel 19 and at cstx.gov/cstv19.

To address the Council regarding any item on the workshop or regular agenda, please register with the City Secretary by 2 p.m. by calling 979-764-3500 to provide your name and phone number. Written comments will be provided to the Council members.
During Hear Visitors, individuals may address the Council on topics NOT appearing on the regular agenda.

Here are four items to watch:
1. Black History Month
Mayor Nichols will proclaim February as Black History Month in College Station.
2. McCulloch Contract Deduction
As part of the consent agenda, the Council will consider a $557,172 deductive change order to the contract with Kieschnick General Contractors for the recently completed McCulloch Water and Wastewater Rehabilitation Project. The contractor identified ways to reduce costs while still producing quality work.
3. Fire Department Update
The Council will review the College Station Fire Department’s operations and activities, including the scheduled opening of Fire Station No. 7 next fall.
4. Affordable Housing Resolution
The Council is considering a resolution to support a proposal to develop affordable rental housing at 2735 South Harvey Mitchell Parkway through the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs 2026 Low Income Housing Tax Credit allocation process.
