The College Station City Council meets on Thursday after 6 p.m. at City Hall. The meeting will be streamed live on Optimum Channel 19, cstx.gov/cstv19 and YouTube.

To address the Council regarding any item on the agenda, please register with the City Secretary by 2 p.m. by calling 979-764-3500 to provide your name and phone number. Written comments will be provided to the Council members.
During the Hear Visitors segment, individuals may address the council on topics not listed on the regular agenda.
Here are five things to watch:
1. November Elections
As part of the consent agenda, the Council will authorize a general and special election on Nov. 3 to elect a mayor and Places 1 and 2 on the City Council, and to fill a two-year unexpired term for Place 5. The Council will also consider a shared $95,000 interlocal agreement with Brazos County to handle election administration.
2. Bee Creek Drainage
The Council will consider policy options regarding the impacts of increasing impervious cover limits in areas of the Bee Creek Drainage Basin that were developed prior to modern stormwater management standards. The presentation will cover current regulations, redevelopment hurdles, and possible solutions.
3. FY 27 Tax Rate
The Council will discuss the FY 27 property tax rate and schedule a public hearing for Aug. 27.
4. Rock Prairie West Rezoning
The Council will consider a request to change the land use from General Commercial to Urban Residential and the zoning from Rural to Multi-Family for about 12.4 acres at 2950 Rock Prairie Road West, west of Rock Prairie and Old Wellborn Road.
5. Victoria Avenue Rezoning
The Council will consider a request to change the zoning from Rural to Multi-Family/Middle Housing/Natural Areas Protected for about 35 undeveloped acres north of Victoria Avenue and William D. Fitch Parkway. The proposed development consists of a multifamily complex in the front along Victoria and townhomes in the back.
