The College Station City Council meets on Thursday after 6 p.m. at City Hall. The meeting will be streamed live on Optimum Channel 19, cstx.gov/cstv19 and YouTube.

To address the Council regarding any item on the agenda, please register with the City Secretary by 1 p.m. by calling 979-764-3500 to provide your name and phone number. Written comments will be provided to the Council members.

During the Hear Visitors segment, individuals may address the council on topics not listed on the regular agenda.

Here are five things to watch:

1. Outside Agency Funding

The Council will consider FY 27 funding agreements with the Aggieland Humane Society ($419,054), the Arts Center of Brazos Valley ($35,000 General Fund/$600,908 Hotel Tax Fund), the Brazos Transit District ($400,800), and the Greater Brazos Partnership ($350,000). The Council approved the funding during the FY 27 budget process.

2. Budget Amendment

The Council will consider amending the FY 26 budget by $12.7 million, mostly due to the timing of electric utility capital expenditures and Adamson Lagoon slide improvements. The amendment also includes interfund transfers and an Internal Service Fund increase to cover increased health insurance claims costs. A complete list of amendment items is on pages 602-603 in the agenda packet.

3. Corinth Group Agreements

The Council will consider amending the real estate contract and approving a Chapter 380 Economic Development Agreement with the Corinth Group for about 14.47 undeveloped acres north of Costco in the Midtown Business Park. The contract amendment modifies the purchase area for about $5.04 million. The planned retail development features multiple buildings and a central plaza.

4. Bass Pro Shop Agreement

The Council will consider a $5.8 million real estate contract and a Chapter 380 Economic Development Agreement with Bass Pro Outdoor World for a 98,000-square-foot store on about 13.895 undeveloped acres north of Costco in the Midtown Business Park.

5. Flock ALPR Cameras

The Council will consider an agreement not to exceed $158,000 with Flock Group for automatic license plate readers on Texas Department of Transportation roads and a $141,062 agreement for cameras on non-TxDOT roads. The cameras help combat auto theft crimes and assist with identifying vehicles linked to shootings, robberies, kidnappings and other crimes.
