Arts Council Update

The council heard an update from Chris Dyer, executive director of the Arts Council of the Brazos Valley, on the organization’s activities. In Fiscal Year 2013, the Arts Council is receiving $100,000 from the city’s General Fund for operations and $300,000 in hotel occupancy taxes for marketing and affiliate funding.

Five things to watch at Thursday’s city council meetings

gavel[1]Here are five items to watch when the College Station City Council gathers Thursday at city hall for its workshop (6 p.m.) and regular (7 p.m.) meetings:

  1. Arts Council of Brazos Valley Update: The council will receive an update from Arts Council Executive Director Chris Dyer on the organization’s activities. Five things to watch at Thursday’s city council meetings
