We know you have questions, so maybe this helps:

How do I know what swim lesson level to register for?

Review all sections of the Swim Lesson Handbook before enrolling. To determine the appropriate swim level, ask, “Can I (or the student) perform all of the skills listed in the class?” If yes, enroll in the next level; if no, enroll in the level that matches current ability. Private and adaptive lessons are available for those needing specialized instruction.

When do the pools open?

Adamson Lagoon and Cindy Hallaran Pool open Saturday, May 23.

>> Pool Hours

Why is full-day summer camp moving to weekly registration?

The shift to weekly registration at the Lincoln Recreation Center improves safety, staffing stability and program access. It allows for more consistent attendance, which helps maintain required camper-to-staff ratios set by Youth Standards of Care, improves planning and supervision, and reduces unused spots so more children can participate. Scholarships are available for eligible participants. For details, call 979-764-3486.

Are you hiring seasonal staff?

We’re hiring facility program supervisors, lifeguards, pool cashiers, recreation assistants, swim coaches and water safety instructors.
